November 2008 (Medialink) - Purina® Dog Chow® brand Dog Food is celebrating 12 unique dogs by giving them the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have their video incorporated into the bonus section of the 20th Century Fox comedy Marley & Me DVD. In addition, a portion of each of the finalists' videos will appear during a "National Dog Show" commercial break on NBC and one lucky grand prize winner will get the chance to mingle with the stars by attending the Hollywood premiere of the movie.
Based on the autobiographical book by John Grogan and staring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston, Marley & Me chronicles the life and adventures of the Grogan family dog, a golden retriever named Marley.
David Frankel, dog lover and director of the upcoming Marley & Me movie, will help select the winning video in the national contest on www.longliveyourdog.com.

Now through December 5, 2008 dog lovers across the country can help celebrity judge, David Frankel choose the lucky winner. All eligible videos were judged based on their creativity, relevance to the "unique, rascally, and one-of-a-kind dog" theme and technical quality.
